Champagne is also extremely effective, anything with a fizz seems to do the job I find! Retronaut is a great site, here are a few of my favs from there, http://pinterest.com/carolineawire/mechanical-stuff/
always an easy way to lose a few hours when I should be doing other things! Hope the sun is shining in West Cork x

I built on of these in my elementary classroom a few years ago. It’s a beautiful boat, but the skin wasn’t up to the rocky river that I paddle. I used to live on deep water and would would have been ideal in that setting. Good luck.
