Well as you can see the 18′ faering is ready for launch. The client created the artwork for the sails and the sailmaker made a beautiful set of Clipper cloth vertical cut mainsail and jib.

You can really see her lovely lines in this photo. The 18′ Faering is much more elegant than the 16′ Faerings I have built before.

This is a highly personalised boat form the dark stained exterior to the Viking runes carved on the stem and stern. The runes hold a special meaning for the client and are on the bow and stern.

I really enjoyed building this boat both the design and client were a pleasure and it was nice to get the opportunity to refine something that I had built before and create an even better boat.
